Inserts & Mailings

Display advertising takes time!

Many customers choose the AOA Magazine and enjoy the benefits of consistent advertising. IF, you are looking for an immediate short response, use "Magazine Inserts", "Email Blasts" OR piggy back into one of our "Direct Mailers".

Magazine Inserts

Your ad can be printed on a special 8” x 10” piece of paper and hand inserted into the AOA Magazine. When the reader opens the magazine, your ad can fall onto their lap. You can print your ad on both sides, and we recommend that you use colored paper so that it easily stands out. Our requirements are listed below.

  1. Inserts must be printed on no more than 8” x 10” piece of paper if you want it to be inserted as a “full page”. You are welcome to fold the paper if required by your marketing strategy.

  2. Inserts must be printed on “20 pound printers bond” paper. All inserts will be weighed in advance. If the paper is heavier, the price will be adjusted accordingly.

  3. Front and back can be used. Insert can also be printed on colored paper.

  4. Inserts are printed by the client and delivered to AOA. The deadline is the 15th of the month. (delivered to AOA by January 15th for the February magazine)

  5. Costs are: $65 per 1,000. $60 per 1,000 for 26,000 +.

  6. Our minimum requirement is the “maximum” of any one of our areas/zones. Example: Orange County = 12,000 individual magazines. 12,000 x $65 per 1,000 = $780.*

*This cost is for an 8” x 10” insert, printed on 20lb printers bond. If the insert differs in weight, or if the insert needs to be folded, the price will be adjusted appropriately.

Credit Check Mailer

The “Credit Check Mailer” is a way for you to piggy back your flier along with our monthly credit check invoices. Why “credit Check Invoices”?? AOA is a full service apartment association, and one of the services we provide to our members is to screen applicants for tenancy. Then we will mail them an invoice. That’s where YOU come in. You can piggy back your mailer along with our AOA invoice. This is a “warm” mailer that the customer WILL open. And there, they will find your insert.

  1. Inserts must be printed on no more than 8½” x 11”, 20-pound printers bond” paper.

  2. Inserts need to be “tri-folded” by client.

  3. Front and back can be used. Insert can also be printed in color.

  4. Inserts are printed by the client and delivered to AOA. The deadline is the first of the month. (delivered by January 1st for the January mailing)

  5. Total number of Inserts is approximately 2,500 per month.

  6. Total Cost to AOA: $500.00*

*This cost is for an 8 ½” x 11” tri-folded insert, printed on 20lb printers bond. If the insert differs in weight, or if the insert needs to be folded, the price will be adjusted appropriately.
