Aggressive and threatening phone calls by criminals impersonating IRS agents are once again increasing with the start of the 2016 filing season. The calls threaten police arrest, deportation, license revocation, bank account seizures, and a number of other threats.
One of the greatest joys for me is to watch others succeed as real estate investors. I am always amazed how some investors jump in and can create profits from almost any deal, while others seem to struggle with each step they take.
1. Walk through the unit and show them where everything is. If you think this step isn’t important, just wait until you have a water leak, your tenant calls you and hasn’t turned off the water because he doesn’t know where the shutoff is. There’s more to it than that, though.
