Jeff Faller – AOA President
As we wrap up the year, it’s always a good time to take inventory and set new goals that align with the 7-step Success System or whichever system that you have in place to ensure success in every aspect of your life. You may want to start the New Year by simplifying your life with AOA’s new property management software!
Isn’t it incredible that the likelihood of achieving your goals goes up 42% when you write them down! (The Power of Writing Down Your Goals and Dreams | HuffPost Latest News). I like to take time to listen to AOA’s founder share his seven-step system for success to make sure I’m on track. (Dan Faller’s 7 Steps to Success seminar from the AOA Million Dollar Trade Show comes free with a 3-year AOA membership).
AOA Keeps You Informed
In 2021, the assault on the property rights of apartment owners continued on relentlessly from 2020. If COVID wasn’t challenging enough by itself, keeping up with all the new forms, procedures, and fees brought it to another level. With landlord/tenant law becoming more complex, we hope that you’ve been able to watch some of AOA’s informational Live Streams – (link to (9) AOAUSA – YouTube).
You Get What You Give
We all choose how we respond to adversity. When we saw people hoarding toilet paper, AOA decided to do the very opposite. Since people wanted to hoard, we thought it would be powerful to give, so we gave away the COVID-related forms on our website www.aoausa.com . Although the call volume was through the roof, it brought all the staff here at AOA great joy to be able to help so many hurting apartment owners.
That principle of generosity and taking interest in others has empowered and guided AOA through this COVID crisis to be able to help more people than ever before. We hope that you, too, are experiencing the joy that comes with giving to others.
AOA’s Statewide Protest
Twenty-five percent of AOA members wrote letters to the Governor and/or their local city council members. Thank you for investing your time into the industry! The people who did participate realize that they belong to a larger community; I hope that our feedback will help local politicians realize how their way of “helping tenants” is actually hurting tenants.
